NSW Treasury has engaged SurveyQuest to run a very complex ICT Expenditure Review data collection.

The work

• 77 government agencies took part, across NSW
• The lifecycle of each questionnaire was controlled by workflows handling all the logistics and timing of the data entry, approvals, corrections and re-approvals
• 300 users were involved with different roles
• The questionnaire contained around 1000 questions with 6000 data elements
• 400 strategic validations
• 500 computed fields
• Multiple levels of approval used in large agencies

While in general such a collection would take up to 10 people to implement and coordinate, this project was coordinated successfully by just one person.
